CREATING A PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

First, some questions to answer...

Why are you taking this course?

What are your hopes and dreams?

How can you live as an embodiment of your mission – and what is your mission?!

In order to know what your mission is, you will be creating a MISSION STATEMENT!

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

·     A mission statement is an explanation of purpose & a personal code of conduct

·     It answers the questions:

o  Who Am I?

o  Who am I becoming?

o  What is my purpose in life?

It reminds us that:

Value leads to WORTH

Commitment leads to MEANING

Contribution leads to LEGACY

Knowing your purpose give you clear direction in life. Your personal mission statement gives you freedom to play, create and lead.
